A little reminder why I consider The Perry Bible Fellowship to be among the greatest comic strips ever created.
Off to Norfolk + change in comments
Submitted by kyle on March 18, 2006 - 1:23pm. FYI | PersonalI know how much you all love to post comments here, so I'm a bit hesitant to make it harder, but there have been way too many spam comments as of late. Consequently, comments now require registration. It's pretty fast and easy, and there isn't really much of a validation on it. So it shouldn't slow you down any, should you chose to post comments. Sorry about that, but going through and having to delete the 100+ comments that the spam filter didn't catch, enough is enough.
Also, I'm traveling with the women's basketball team to Norfolk, VA. I leave today, and I get back sometime Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how well we do. If you need to reach me, cell's the way to do it.
Unfortunately, I'm back in the District
Submitted by kyle on March 10, 2006 - 9:24pm. FYIAfter a disappointing first round showing by GW at the A10, I'm back in the District a bit earlier than planned. In the last three days I've spent 20 hours on a bus, watched six movies and taken one shower.
Going to Ohio for four days
Submitted by kyle on March 7, 2006 - 6:40pm. FYII'm in the band and we're traveling with the GW Basketball team to the A10 tournament in Ohio this week. I leave bright and early Wednesday morning, and I'm out of town until Saturday evening. I have no idea if I'm going to have an internet connection. If I've got stuff outstanding to you, I'll have it to you when I'm back online.
Maybe you'll see me on TV!
Mr. Portland is back from the shop
Submitted by kyle on January 30, 2006 - 11:47am. Computers | FYI | News | PersonalAfter much weeping and gnashing of teeth, my computer has returned from it's little stint out in California. A big thank you to the fine folks at MacService for doing a wonderful job replacing both hinges. It was a little bit pricey, but they were prompt and accessible, and I opted for the overnight shipping, too -- so that added a bit to the cost.
FYI: My computer is in the shop
Submitted by kyle on January 24, 2006 - 11:19pm. FYI | News | Personal | Stupid | Whining | Work | SadI'm going to be quite slow getting back to people until I have my little darling back. But Mr. Portland is currently en route to California, where he will have his left hinge replaced -- after I carelessly broke apart the metal holding it together in a fit of rage-induced super-human strength.
Hopefully, I'll be up and running at full speed again on Saturday at the earliest, Monday at the latest. In the mean time, calling me on the phone would probably be your most fruitful course of action, should you desire to communicate with me.
Answers to inevitable questions:
1. It was bad
2. No, I don't know how it broke
3. A lot. :-(
